Participation Row is a Shakedown Street for doing good! Featuring non-profit organizations dedicated to protecting the planet, voter registration and making a positive impact. The tour-long give-back efforts are organized by HeadCount and REVERB. Look for Participation Row and our free water refill station inside the gates at all 20 Dead & Company shows this summer.
“Participation Row combines the carnival atmosphere of a Grateful Dead parking lot with some fairly serious and organized citizen actions,” said Andy Bernstein, HeadCount executive director. “We create an environment where people can learn about important issues and then take actions to have a positive impact."
REVERB is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2004 by environmentalist Lauren Sullivan and her musician husband, Adam Gardner of Guster. REVERB creates and executes comprehensive, custom programs to green the tour itself while engaging concertgoers to take action for the environment.
